I love the look of weathered barns, tho I do hate to see them falling down.

Oh I feel sad to see it so weathered but there's also some joy to see that it's still standing and seems to be functional as well. I love barns!

There's "weathered" and then there's "neglected". I'd put this one in the second category and it's probably too late to save it now unless someone's willing to spend a lot of money on it. It's a pity.

I see new "pole buildings" going up occasionally but I haven't seen a barn less than 80 years old in these part for a very long time-- and none of them is all that well maintained. Like your picture.

That one looks like a strong wind could take it down. It's in need of some TLC

Hello,

It looks like it is barely hanging in there. Take care, enjoy your day and week ahead.

Don't know how long this weathered barn will continue to stand firm.

C'est triste de voir ces belles granges tomber en ruine, mais pour nous consoler, elles nous donnent un beau sujet de photographie !

A great find with nice textures! Structurally, it must be sound as it's just the roof and walls that are in poor shape. Is the farm still active?

I like the weathered look.

The old barn looks a little worse for wear at this point. It seems to have been doing its duty for a long time.

That barn has seen better days, but is still hanging on.

I like the barn's metalic look. Neat shot.

Love this old barn! IT's interesting how a different perspective gives different details.

When I was a kid living on the farm we had a barn with a similar shape. We had very old boards instead of metal sheeting. Great photo.
