Through my dining room window...


 This is a cropped portion of the photo...reduced in size to upload to blogger.  This dove was only about 10 ft away from me.

we love these guys and call them do do birds because we can walk right up to them, they are not even afraid of Beau. I watched one yesterday sitting in our tree. i love love love their cooing noises

They look so like our Collared Doves. I hope they sing better as Collared Doves have just three notes which they repeat over and over again.

A very pretty image of this mourning dove. I have not seen them all winter and then 2 pairs were at my bird feeders over the last couple of days. I see quite a few of them in the spring and summer.
