They're handsome birds, but I'm baffled as to why early settlers decided to call them Robins; apart from having an orange breast they're nothing like our Robins.
They always seem a bit snooty to me, but I love 'em anyway!

Oh, one of my favorite birds, Rose. They are brave ones, and don't fly away quickly like the others. Their orange belly makes me smile. Such a dear bird.

A gorgeous portrait! I hardly see robins anymore. I used to see flocks of them but they have mostly disappeared.
