It looks like this photo was taken on another planet. The sun is so HUGE. :) And there are thin clouds in front of it.

This is a perfect sunset photo -- absolutely gorgeous.
We've seen some of these, too. I heard that we're getting some of the sand from Africa again, blowing across the ocean...that often makes for these reddish sunsets.

Re your question on Stone Creek: I don't think the birds were looking at anything specific. They're kind of goofy little birds!
Considering this is Indiana, I'd say you got the perfect sunset. This is amazing, Rose! I get so frustrated over here because of all the ground clutter and no decent place to capture the sunset (or sunrise).
