Wintry scenes for Friday's fences....

I was looking for some photos for something other than blogging and ran across these...and thought they would make a good Friday's fences post. I did remember the one above, but had totally forgotten the one below. Both of these are scans...either of slides or actual photos. I don't recall which.
The one below was taken a couple or three years ago...with a digital camera. It is not too far from here...every time I pass it I think it is the prettiest view no matter what the time of year.
They are my entry for Friday's fences....I just hope I remember to link up. The girls are supposed to head here tomorrow late...not sure what time they will be here. It may be a day or two before I get to visit everyone...

A delightful series. The first gate just seems so cold - wouldn't want to have to open it! And the fence in the second is a bit sad, but it's a beautiful shot. And your third one is charming. The snow adds so much.

Lovely series; that first one looks so inviting, I want to walk that path. Reminds me of something from "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe". The last one is simply idyllic.

the 2nd shot is just beautiful!

The last one is my favorite, just the way the houses are positioned, and the way the snow is on them, and the fence. It would make a lovely card!

I especially like the last one. I can picture people inside gathered around a fireplace.

Those are all beautiful shots! I'm glad I don't have that snow yet this year.

I like the last one best. I'm glad you said these were old shots - we have just had a record warm day for December it is almost hard to imagine snow!

Lovely tones you've achieved in these photos--so appropriate for quiet winter scenes. How did you achieve the color in the first photo? Straight shot or some editing?

Three very fine Friday's Fences posts! They all have great looking and very different fences in them. The middle broken down fence is particularly attractive while the picket fence in the last one sets up the two buildings very well. Have a good weekend with the girls!

I adore them all, but that last looks like a b&w if not for the fantastic red barn. Winter scenes are so fun and these are excellent!

What a lovely snowy series. I really do like the second one, Rose. The broken section of the fence looks like it could be right down the road form me. The first one really does look familiar. I see lots of fences like this one. The last one is to me a typical country scene from any part of the country. Lovely shots. genie
