A bit of beauty....

I finally got to photograph some sunflowers this afternoon.

They are the small kind...which is fine with me.

Do you see the bee...that was a lucky capture.

The first picture is gorgeous! I have never seen a sunflower picture like it. The colors...and the hairs on the edges of the leaves look like frost! You got the bee flying! Stunning pictures!

Great pictures --- mine never turn out nearly so well. And I love sunflowers because they always look so happy.

I absoulutely love sunflowers. Wade used to always fill the bird feeder with sunflower seeds so the birds would drop them around the feeder and I always had the small ones growing around it.

A great series of photos where the budding sunflower is just as beautiful before it radiates!!

I don't think I've ever seen a sunflower closed. They're even beautiful closed, aren't they? Yes, these look smaller than the usual ones we see in the fields. Lovely pictures, Rose.

I admire how you capture such detail, especially in the first photo, my first glimpse of a sunflower in that stage. And I am happy to see that there are still bees in your area, busy pollinating and keeping our world producing.

These are lovely. I like the one with the bee! Sunflowers are so much fun to photograph. When they bloom here, they draw big crowds and unless you get to the fields really early, it is not much fun.

Lovely stages of the bloom on these sunflowers.

Your sunflowers are looking great. My seed was planted late so I don’t have a bud yet for blooming on either one of them.
