Above is the moon from last night....the pink moon.  I am always too lazy to get out the tripod so out of 6 or 8 shots, this was the decent one.  I finally leaned against the garage to steady myself.

Below are two shots of the moon from March 8th...exactly one month ago.

As you can see by the photo below, I was lucky to get one at all.

I don't ever remember seeing moon close-ups from you. These are wonderful!! I even like the black wispy clouds.

These are awesome photos. I can never get a good shot of the moon even when I do use a tripod. I can see why this is the pink moon. Compared to last month it does have a pink cast to it.

Fabulous! I managed one shot and one shot only - still in camera, so no idea how it came out... YAM xx

Terrific. It was cloudy here!

moons are not my thing, I can't hold the camera still. I have tried several times and did manage to get ONE that was clear.. these are excellent and without a tripod. I vote with ginny, like the wispy one best

We had a haze over the Pink Moon but it was still beautiful.

The moon pictures are very successful. I can't imagine that leaning on something would giv you stability.

I'm impressed that you could hand-hold for those shots. The moon here looked superb here just after sunrise yesterday morning but by the time I got outside it had disappeared!

I totally forgot about the moon last night. You captured it beautifully! I love looking for the little "dot".

Great moon shots. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one too lazy to deal with a tripod. I know I should, but I just try to find something to prop up on instead.

Wow excellent shots of the moon.

well, you beat me --- I was too lazy to go out! The one with the clouds has more personality. I am kind of a "once you've shot it once, why shoot it again?" guy.
